How it Helps
The service has two-fold effect. Firstly, it encourages consumers like the household, industry and education institution to save electricity and reduce carbon emission. Secondly, the savings will be used to help low income families to ease the pressure on paying electricity bills.
In order to encourage consumers to participate, x% of savings from the electricity reduction will be used to rebate off from their electricity bill. The other y% will be channeled to the PowerBank.
The money in the PowerBank will be used to pay for low income families electricity bill. This service will offer three major benefits as follows:
